Van Gogh to Go, Volume 3: Spirituality: Excerpts from the letters of Vincent van Gogh Details

Vincent van Gogh is widely recognized as one of the most influential artists of the modern era, his works now famously commanding prices in excess of $100 million USD. Less well known is the fact that he was as talented a writer as he was a painter. Throughout his career, van Gogh wrote more than 800 letters detailing not only his creative processes, but his ongoing struggle to live life at the intersection of art, commerce and spirituality. Van Gogh to Go is a 3-volume series which presents the artist’s most evocative quotes paired with carefully-chosen paintings, and sized to easily pop into a backpack, briefcase or purse. Whether you’re an artist seeking inspiration, or simply a person looking for relief from the innumerable stressors of 21st century life, Van Gogh to Go offers practical advice for creative living.Collect all three:Van Gogh to Go, Volume 1: Art / Van Gogh to Go, Volume 2: Work / Van Gogh to Go, Volume 3: SpiritualityVan Gogh to Go, Volume 1: ArtThe Artist’s LifeArt and NatureArt and BooksArt and MoneyArt and PerseveranceVan Gogh to Go, Volume 2: WorkWork and VocationWork and AdventureBusiness AdviceWork and PerseveranceWork and ValuesWork and the FutureVan Gogh to Go, Volume 3: SpiritualitySpirituality and FaithSpirituality and DiscipleshipSpirituality and the BibleSpirituality and the MinistrySpirituality and CultureSpirituality and PerseveranceSpirituality and the FutureWatch the trailer: https://vimeo.com/vangoghtogoAbout the AuthorAuthor, musician and entertainment industry executive Tom Willett brings a lifetime of experience to helping artists and audiences alike understand the centrality of creativity in both professional and personal life.

Reviews

Many people know that a young Van Gogh studied theology, intending to be a pastor. The art world can be grateful that he abandoned that career path -- but he never abandoned his interest in or passion for the deepest issues of spirituality. This volume places Van Gogh's thoughts and writings on spirit side by side with beautiful reproductions of the art work in which he embodied this spiritual fervor. A really lovely little book.
