Reviews
I met Chip when he was just starting at Temple. He had a wonderful sense of invitation in his whole personality: As in “hello, I’m a person; you’re a person, let’s get to know each other more.” Maybe I got that a little bit too, but his is as large as an epic writer’s expansiveness. So I expected no less but brilliance from this piece. But it really is a masterpiece about chance but no less rigorous encounters with people who give off honesty with their eyes, and respond to each other with gentleness. It’s beautiful. That’s all I gotta say...:)
